Have fun reading this year at RIK Book Camp™
Camp Director, Paula Ruesch
Camp runs June 8 - July 6. Five fun weeks of fabulous reading with book lovers like you. Classes are held on Thursdays. Check the Schedule page for age groups and times. Our class for first graders was so fun for us last year that we decided to try it again. The books in the first grade class are read aloud to the children and they open the incentives together at book camp. We are so excited about this class we can hardly wait!
Camp tuition is $99, with discounts for families registering more than one camper. Campers will receive a book bag and book, create a book journal, get a Reading Incentive Kit™ for each book, and enjoy a fun weekly activity connected to the books they read. Campers will need to purchase or borrow the books on their book list. Books are readily available from your favorite bookseller and are also available for purchase from Reading With RIK. The book lists will be posted in May.

There is still some room in the 3rd grade class. All the others are full.
What is RIK?
RIK™ is short for Reading Incentive Kit™. Campers receive a RIK Reading Incentive Kit for each of the books they read at RIK Book Camp. Each kit contains surprises campers open as they reach certain points in the book, providing motivation to keep reading. The kits are a hit with both avid and reluctant readers alike!
